48 hours in Mexico City

Being an LA resident, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Mexico plenty of times. I’ve been to the typical resort areas; Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, etc. Each area of Mexico provides a different experience. One thing that always remains common is the incredible food!

Mexico is such a gorgeous and expansive country that I’m purposely willing to go back for more exploration.

The capital city of Mexico has been on my radar for some time. I’ve heard so many good things from visitors and tourists alike. I’ve also watched plenty of travel shows highlighting Mexico City as a must visit travel city. I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to get there.

Thankfully I had an opportunity to visit CDMX with a complimentary stay for some content creation and I jumped on the opportunity as fast as I could.

I stayed at the Mint Roma Residences located in the Roma Norte area of Mexico City. This was my first time getting a chance to go and it was only for the weekend, but I was able to see, do and eat so much. The Roma Norte area is a great neighborhood to stay as there are so many great places to eat within walking distance. The extensive public transportation system of the city is also close by, which gave me access everywhere.

Although my visit was very short, I am so very glad I went to Mexico City for a quick trip. It was a great way to get my feet wet and ready for my next visit to this incredible city.

I highly recommend visiting Mexico City for yourself.
